MTV Movie Of The Year Moments: 'Django Unchained'

With the 2013 MTV Movie Awards less than a week away, MTV Movie Blog is shifting into full Movie Awards mode. In anticipation of the big night, every day this week, we'll be bringing you our five favorite moments from each of the five Movie of the Year nominees.

"Django Unchained" seems like the movie Quentin Tarantino was born to make. The Western-style tale of Southern revenge mixes together the writer-director's most entertaining sensibilities and resulted in one hell of an epic, unlike anything else in the theaters last year.

"I like the way you die, boy."

Because Tarantino revenge is the sweetest.

Bad Eye Holes

Because it was the funniest joke of the year.

Smirking Leo

Because you can tell he's waited a long time to be this bad.

Django Shoots His Way Out

Because the scene earned its Movie Award nomination.

Australian Quentin Explodes

Because the accent wasn't great.

Will Jennifer Lawrence get her silver lining in the form of a Golden Popcorn? Which beefcake will sizzle in our brand-new Best Shirtless Performance category?
