Two films whose futures remained unclear, especially considering that they didn’t have a release date, have just landed fall premieres.
According to Box Office Mojo, “Gravity,” Alfonso Cuarón’s long-delayed sci-fi epic, and “Machete Kills,” the follow-up to Robert Rodriguez’s “Grindhouse” spin-off, will finally hit theaters this October and September, respectively.
Cuarón’s first feature film in seven years stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as two astronauts who get stranded in space when their shuttle is destroyed. “Gravity” was originally expected to premiere this past fall, but a delay in May pushed it to an indefinite 2013 date. When it does finally bow on October 4, you’ll be able to catch “Gravity” in IMAX.
