Get Your First Look At President Jamie Foxx

White House Down

Roland Emmerich is returning to the White House in his new film, though this time he's not going to blow it up. The "Independence Day" director instead is directing a movie called "White House Down" that pits a secret service agent against a group of terrorists who are planning to attack the White House.

Beyond that, we don't know much about "White House Down." The flick isn't due out until June 28, 2013, but at least we have our first behind-the-scenes look at the movie. Emmerich tweeted the above picture that shows star Jamie Foxx and writer James Vanderbilt from set yesterday, and it gives us a sense of the look of the movie.

"Behind-the-scenes on set with #WhiteHouseDown's POTUS @iamjamiefoxx and our screenplay writer James Vanderbilt..." the tweet reads.

We dig Foxx's look at President in this new image, and it's definitely a big change from how we've become used to seeing him as Django in Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained." We wonder if he knew what big shoes he was stepping into, though, since Bill Pullman's President Thomas J. Whitmore in "Independence Day" set the POTUS bar pretty high for Emmerich movies.

Foxx is just one of many exciting actors at the center of "White House Down." Channing Tatum plays the main secret service agent, while the movie also features Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke, Richard Jenkins, Jance Reddick, James Woods, Rachelle Lefevre and Garcelle Beauvais.
