A few months out from “Skyfall,” the James Bond franchise seems pretty safe in the hands of current leading man Daniel Craig, and if a new report is accurate, things may stay this way for quite a while.
Bond fan site MI6 is reporting that Craig has signed on for at least two more movies as agent 007.
Not only that, but MI6 also got word that EON Production, the studio behind the films, is looking to speed up the production cycle, getting back to two years between installments. That would put Bond 24 in 2014 and Bond 25 in 2016.
“Skyfall” will be the first series installment in 4 years due to financial troubles at MGM, but people close to production have claimed that the delay only helped the newest film.
“Skyfall” opens on November 9.
