It’s a little bit “Harry Potter” (especially with producer David Heyman aboard) with a dash of “Hugo” (train station plus gold lettering), but what really matters in the first poster for “Paddington” (via ComingSoon.net) is the polite little fellow in the middle of the poster.
Yes, this is the first one sheet for the upcoming adaptation of the “Paddington Bear” books. The classic character is getting the film adaptation treatment and a “Hugo”-esque name shortening.

The poster shows Paddington upon his arrival to London. The character earned his name for the train station the Brown family found him in before adopting him as one of their own.
The poster comes especially early as Heyman only announced the project a few months ago, and release on the print is 2014. So until then we’ll probably just enjoy a marmalade sandwich or two.
