'The FP,' 'Project X,' And More: This Week On Video!

This week marks a wonderful event for all fans of interesting filmmaking. The best movie theater in the world, The Alamo Drafthouse, is entering the home video business, and this week, they release their first Blu-ray, the outrageous DDR comedy "The FP." Story:

Frazier Park is a tough town dominated by street gangs who recognize only one way of settling their differences -- Beat Beat Revelation, a video game that puts a player's dance skills to the test. One man will dance to win justice for his people in this offbeat satiric comedy from directors Jason Trost and Brandon Trost.

The first Blu-ray release from the esteemed Alamo Drafthouse, "The FP" comes packed with special features and interesting goodies. "Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished" is a look at the making of the film. There are also featurettes examining the score and costume design, as well as a commentary track from the Trost Brothers. Plus, the booklet features introductions from Rob Zombie and Neveldine & Taylor.
