The answer is most assuredly "yes" if you ask certain attendees, but put the question to your fearless MTV Movies Blog editor and you'll find a different response. See, the Park City festival has more than lived up to every expectation of the MTV Movies team, from swag to screenings. We've had a fantastic time, but as with all good things, our journey is finally coming to a close.
But before we take our final bow, let's take a look around ourselves and size up our last moments at Sundance.
For one, we got the chance to chat with Spike Lee, Charles S. Dutton, Common, Aubrey Plaza and more yesterday (January 23) as we prepared for our grand departure. Today, our roster of interviewees expands to the likes of Brie Larson, Chris Rock and Parker Posey, among others. As always, submit your questions to @mtvmoviesblog and make your voice heard — if you have pressing questions, we absolutely want to know them, so don't be shy!
As our time at Sundance begins to draw to a close, let me just take the opportunity to say thank you for tuning in and making our trip to Utah's snowy cinematic landscape a very worthwhile visit. It's not always easy spending time away from the people you love, even if your excursion into the great unknown involves very good movies, very good food and very good friends. But your constant attention has made this journey more than worth our while, and we can't thank you enough.
We've said it before (much to some of your chagrin) and we'll say it again: by all accounts, 2012 is shaping up to be one of the most incredible years in recent movie history. We're so excited to see what the coming months beyond Sundance have in store for us, but more than that, we're thrilled to find out what it is you're looking for from the next few months of moviemaking. Don't ever for a second neglect to tell us what's on your mind — we're here to keep your movie interests at their peak, so let us know what you think of this year's journey to Sundance in the comments and on Twitter!
The 2012 Sundance Film Festival is officially under way, and the MTV Movies team is on the ground reporting on the hottest stars and the movies everyone will be talking about in the year to come. Keep it locked with MTV Movies for everything there is to know about Sundance.
