The folks over at Moviehole report that Lautner is one of several action stars that is being looked at to star in the upcoming sequel. Apparently the offer hasn’t gone out to the “Abduction” star yet, but he is allegedly high up on the list of actors that Lionsgate wants for the film.
Also on the list are Christopher Lambert, Nicolas Cage and Christian Slater, as well as the previously rumored John Travolta, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Chuck Norris. It certainly would be interesting to see up-and-coming action hero Lautner facing off against some of the baddest dudes around.
