We predicted it yesterday, and now they're here: dwarf brothers Balin and Dwalin have arrived.
Time got the exclusive on the second-to-last "The Hobbit" character reveal for the film's 13 dwarves, and brings us one day closer to the long-anticipated reveal of Thorin Oakenshield. Appropriately, Balin and Dwalin are close relatives of Thorin, and are his most trusted friends.
These two round out the long list of previous picture premieres. Yesterday we were introduced to Bofur, Bombur and Bifur, three brothers from western Middle-Earth. Then there were the regal Fili and Kili, and before them Gimli's relatives Gloin and Oin graced the interwebs. And let us not forget the first three dwarves revealed, Nori, Ori and Dori.
That means that the next and final dwarf to be revealed is their leader, Thorin Oakenshield. He's the coolest dude among them all, and we're really thrilled to see what Richard Armitage looks like in costume. Plus that means there's probably a whole new branch of characters to be revealed after that.
