Alexander Skarsgard Plays A Viking, Natasha Lyonne Joins 'American Reunion'

Alexander SkarsgardIt's the swoon heard 'round the world: Alexander Skarsgard will be again playing a Viking, but this time on the big screen.

The "True Blood" stud first donned the horned helm during the third season of the HBO show when his character's Norse roots were shown in a flashback sequence, but now Skarsgard has been tapped by Warner Bros to play a Viking in their upcoming flick "The Vanguard." Variety managed to learn that he will be one of two Viking brothers exiled to America and then begin a quest to make it back to Sweden.

Final Cast Member Returns For "Reunion"

Natasha Lyonne is the last of the original "American Pie" cast members to return for the upcoming series installment, "American Reunion." Deadline has the news that she will be joining Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan, Chris Klein, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Tara Reid, Seann William Scott, Mena Suvari, Eddie Kaye Thomas, Jennifer Coolidge and Eugene Levy in the movie, which is filming now. "American Reunion" is set for an April 6, 2012 release.

A Female Lead For "Lone Ranger"

Deadline reports that British actress Ruth Wilson is the final woman in the running for the female lead in Gore Verbinski's "The Lone Ranger." Her character will be named Rebecca, but other than that little is known about her role. She will be joining Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp in the upcoming flick.

Nick Frost Is Final Dwarf For "Snow White"

"Paul" star Nick Frost has been cast as the eighth and final dwarf for Universal's upcoming "Snow White and the Huntsman," costarring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Armie Hammer. Variety has learned he will be playing young dwarf Gus, and will join fellow dwarves Ian McShane, Stephen Graham, Eddie Izzard, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Ray Winstone and Eddie Marsan.

Joaquin Phoenix Attached To Untitled Spike Jonze Film

Warner Bros has picked up a new film project from director Spike Jonze and screenwriter Charlie Kaufman, Twitch has learned. Currently untitled, the movie is a satire about world leaders who meet to figure out all the seismic events that will take place in the future. Joaquin Phoenix is currently attached to star.
