Holy mother of awesome, it's been a fantastic week for "Harry Potter" fans. First, there was our announcement of the Harry Potter World Cup. Then we caught wind of Pottermore, a top-secret J.K. Rowling project set to fully unveil sometime next week. On top of all that… a brand new trailer? Wizarding world for the win, y'all!
In case you haven't seen it yet, a brand new trailer for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2" has arrived online, gifting us with what's supposedly the final "Deathly Hallows" trailer of them all — and, as a result, the final "Harry Potter" movie trailer of all time.
The final "Harry Potter" movie trailer of all time. Let that concept soak in for a moment, and then we'll see you past the jump.
Yes, the end is near. Yes, we're sad. But we're also thoroughly pumped. Based on the footage we've already seen and the material contained within this latest trailer, "Deathly Hallows Part 2" promises to be a whole-heartedly breathtaking thrill ride. From Lily Potter's heartfelt goodbye to her infant son — a child who, unbeknownst to his mother, is about to become known as the Boy Who Lived — to the surprise cameo from a spectral Sirius Black towards trailer's end, not to mention the elongated look at the Battle of Hogwarts and Harry, Hermione and Ron's journey through the depths of Gringotts Wizarding Bank (on a flipping dragon, no less!), it's safe to say that this one has it all.
Between Harry Potter World Cup, Pottermore and, of course, "Deathly Hallows" itself, I think it's more than safe to say that muggles everywhere have a lot to be excited for in the weeks to come.
