New ‘Harry Potter’ Posters Highlight The Final ‘Deathly Hallows’ Battle

The end is in sight, my fellow “Harry Potter” enthusiasts. Quite literally, really!

Warner Bros. has released a whole slew of awesome, action-packed “Deathly Hallows: Part 2” posters. Beyond the grim, dark promotion of the movie, the posters also highlight a whole bunch of minor characters who have important roles to play in this final “Potter” installment. It’s nice to see you, Griphook, George and Fred, Professor McGonagall and Neville Longbottom!

After the jump, we go through our three favorite posters of the new bunch and continue to mourn the end of “Potter.”

Draco Malfoy
The last time we saw a Draco Malfoy poster, we commented that we were surprised the backdrop was to the destruction of Hogwarts and not to the Room of Requirement, where he has a pivotal scene. Consider our request heard. This latest poster shows Draco with wand in hand against the backdrop of the Room of Requirement up in flames. Epic.

Neville Longbottom
Have we mentioned that we love, love, love the fact that Neville is getting so much promotional material for “Deathly Hallows: Part 2″? Here we see Neville in a familiar scene of him holding the Gryffindor sword against the backdrop of the final battle. If this poster is any tease to how sprawling and intense the final “Potter” showdown is going to be, we’re almost indimidated to see it on the big screen.

George and Fred Weasley
The normally jovial Weasley twins look utterly humorless as they face off against Death Eaters in the final battle, with the rest of the fight going on behind them in the Hogwarts courtyard. We also like the nice addition of the Death Eaters flying through the air behind them.

Which are your favorites of the new posters? Tell us in the comments section below or on Twitter!
