If you haven't been exposed to the hilarious glory of "Bridesmaids" yet, it isn't too late to get on board with one of the funniest comedies to hit theaters all year. The Kristen Wiig-starring movie is still kicking tail at the box office, and with Memorial Day weekend upon us, there's no better time than now to check out the most disastrous dress-fitting session in the history of the universe.
Another reason why you should see "Bridesmaids" soon? So you can appreciate the behind-the-scenes outtakes! Funny or Die has released a three and a half minute video showing you tons of deleted scenes from "Bridesmaids," showcasing all of the hysterical improvisational skills the movie's lead actors and actresses have at their disposal.
Oh, and it's not safe for work. Like, really not safe for work. Click past the jump to watch the video, but consider this your final warning!
Many of us are just starting to get to know the comedy genius that is Melissa McCarthy, and if you thought her work in the final cut of "Bridesmaids" was top-notch, just check her out in these outtakes. Her professionally successful but socially lacking Megan once again steals the show in the outtakes through several different versions of her scenes with Wiig at the engagement party and her various suggestions for how to celebrate Maya Rudolph's bachelorette party.
Then there's Jon Hamm, who plays Wiig's loathsome friend with benefits in the movie; he gets minimal screen-time in "Bridesmaids," but as you can see here, the "Mad Men" star produced plenty of material to work with.
To say anything more would be to say too much. Just watch the video (if you're in a safe setting) and enjoy.
