Lenny Kravitz Joins 'The Hunger Games' And 'The Dark Knight Rises' Hires Two More In Today's Casting Call

Lenny Kravitz"The Hunger Games" casting process hasn't been entirely unpredictable, but I doubt many of you saw this one coming.

Lionsgate has announced that rocker Lenny Kravitz is joining the cast in the brief but memorable role of Cinna, the thoughtful and innovative stylist who works with Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) as they prepare themselves for the do-or-die games. Hollywood Crush points out that this isn't Kravitz's first big-screen gig; he had a nice, small part in the Oscar-winning "Precious" in 2009.

In addition to Kravitz, it looks like Toby Jones has found himself in "The Hunger Games" as well. Deadline reports that the "Captain America" and "Harry Potter" actor is playing a host/narrator of the games alongside the previously cast Stanley Tucci.

Two More Rise With "The Dark Knight"

Casting is fully underway on "The Dark Knight Rises," with two more actors joining the cast after yesterday's trio of new additions. Variety reports that veteran character actors Brett Cullen and Chris Ellis are joining the Batman threequel as a judge and a priest. Cullen is likely best known these days for playing Goodwin the Other on "Lost," while Ellis is a familiar face as well with roles in "Transformers" and "Catch Me if You Can." The two starred together in Ron Howard's "Apollo 13."

Some Shakespearean "Gossip"

It's doubtful that any "Gossip Girl" fan is going to take issue with Ed Westwick finding more big-screen work, especially when his casting is as perfect as this: Show Blitz reveals that the erstwhile Chuck Bass has signed onto play the vicious Tybalt in a new adaptation of "Romeo and Juliet," starring opposite Hailee Steinfeld as the female lead. Holly Hunter also stars. No word on who's playing Romeo just yet.

"Celeste and Jesse" Find New Friends

The cast of Rashida Jones and Andy Samberg's upcoming romantic dramedy "Celeste and Jesse Forever" is starting to fill out, as Variety reports that Emma Roberts, Chris Messina and Ari Graynor are all coming aboard. Jones and Samberg star as a young divorcing couple struggling to maintain their long-standing friendship while continuing to live together and pursue new relationships.
