‘Saturday Night Live’ Star Jason Sudeikis Hosting The 2011 MTV Movie Awards

FROM MTV MOVIES: When the 2011 MTV Movie Awards swoop into the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, on June 5, “Saturday Night Live” star Jason Sudeikis will be front and center to take on hosting duties for the 20th annual ceremony.

“I’m sincerely flattered that the folks from the Mostly Teenage Viewers network have invited me to host this year, and I look forward to keeping the streak of flawless and critically lauded movie awards show hosting in 2011 alive,” Sudeikis said.

In addition to his exploits on “SNL” — where over six seasons Sudeikis has portrayed everyone from Vice President Joe Biden to “American Idol” winner Taylor Hicks — the comedian and actor stars in this summer’s “Horrible Bosses” opposite Jason Bateman and Charlie Day.
