Robert Pattinson's live appearance on MTV might be behind us, but as Metallica so wisely put it, the memory remains. Several memories, in fact, as RPattz's 30-minute interview with MTV's Josh Horowitz yielded no small amount of insightful, hilarious and flat-out adorable moments from the iconic "Twilight" star.
We've got a ton of video clips from "MTV First: Robert Pattinson" for you to peruse, but if you're looking for the highlights, well, look no further. Click the video above to see Robert's most adorable moments from last week's appearance, and click past the jump for our rundown of the highlights!
Words To Live By
Robert's next film appearance comes in the form of "Water for Elephants," a movie about a traveler named Jacob Janowski who joins a circus and develops a strong bond with Rosie, a new elephant. Rosie only understands commands in Polish, but sadly, Robert isn't exactly fluent in the language — he told MTV that he only remembers a handful of Polish words, including commands for "kneel," "open your mouth," "smile" and "pray."
The Common Denominator
From Kristen Stewart to Reese Witherspoon, it's no secret that Robert has had his fair share of beautiful co-stars in his time on the big screen. When asked if there's anything that connects all of his female co-stars together, he was quite blunt: "I like hot girls," he said with a big laugh.
American Talk, Revisited
We were impressed with how well the "Harry Potter" gang did when we asked them to show us their American accents, but Robert — who stars as American vampire Edwin Cullen in the "Twilight" films — was surprisingly caught-off-guard when asked to slip from his natural British accent to an American one. "Well, I don't know," he replied in a bizarre attempt at a Southern drawl. We don't know either, Robert, but we like it!
