'Deathly Hallows' Epilogue Reshoots Wrap, Young Severus Snape Revealed!

Alan Rickman and Benedict GilbertEven though "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" officially finished shooting over the summer, the stars of the film returned to the set recently to reshoot the second film's epilogue scene. Fans had some complaints about the make-up used on the stars, which made them look closer to 50 years old instead of 35 (which is how old Harry and his friends were supposed to be in the novel's epilogue).

Filming wrapped in Leavesden studios, and some footage that surfaced (now removed) showed the actors looking much more comfortable than they did when they were rushed for time filming the original epilogue scene on location at King's Cross Station. Now it is pretty safe to assume that filming has officially officially wrapped on the "Potter" franchise, and the actors (who already said goodbye to their characters) have given them up for good... at least until a "Potter Puppet Pals" spoof.

But, despite the fact that filming ended over the weekend, two new cast members were announced as part of the "Potter" family. Find out who they are after the jump!

Screen Terrier was unclear as to whether these actors were only just revealed or are new additions to the cast who have scenes to film. Bertie Gilbert, 13, is playing Draco Malfoy's son Scorpius in the epilogue, which obviously already finished shooting this past week. Also, 14-year-old Benedict Clark has come on board as young Severus Snape. That's about as much confirmation as you need that Snape's sad flashback story is going to make its way into "Deathly Hallows - Part 2."

Kelly Macdonald also joined the cast recently as the Grey Lady for some post-production shoots, so it's possible that Clark has joined in a similar circumstance and has yet to film his scenes. Alec Hopkins played young Snape in "Order of the Phoenix" and "Half-Blood Prince," and will likely reprise his role in "Deathly Hallows: Part 2" as well. But Snape's flashback sequence spans at least a decade, so it makes sense that there would be several actors cast for the role.

Are you excited to see the new epilogue scene? Do you feel relieved to know for sure Snape's flashbacks are being filmed?
