Adam Yauch's 'Fight For Your Right Revisited' To Star Elijah Wood, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride & More!

Fight For Your Right RevisitedThey fought for their right to party in hilarious movies like "Stepbrothers," "Pineapple Express," "School of Rock" and "Pedicab Confessions" (hey, it counts!). And now Will Ferrell, John C. Reilly, Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Jack Blackand Elijah Wood are teaming up to star in "Fight For Your Right Revisited," a short film written and directed by Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch. The flick will premiere at Sundance in the spring. And we thought Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis were a comedy dream team!

A recently released still of the film shows Wood as Adam "Ad-Rock" Horovitz, Rogen as Mike "Mike D" Diamond and McBride as Yauch. No word yet on who Ferrell, Reilly and Black will be playing, but if this video is just a remake of the Beastie's original 1986 video for "(You Gotta) Fight for Your Right (to Party)," then my vote's on Black as Ric Menello.

But 24 Bitsis calling this a "lulz-packed sequel," which could follow the boys after they leave the party, thus making the video even more awesome. I think pretty much everyone who's ever seen the classic Beastie Boys video would love to see these awesome actors coming up with something to top the epic pie fight.

My guess is that there might be some more surprise cameos in this video beyond the actors credited. Ferrell and Rogen alone have ginormous comedy posses, and we have a couple of their friends in mind that we're sure couldn't resist this opportunity.

Craig Robinson

Like McBride, Craig Robinson is a comedic actor that Ferrell has really taken a shine to. Ever seen "Bat Fight"? Robinson is just badass enough to want to get in on this.

Bill Hader

Bill Hader hasn't missed an opportunity to star with Rogen in his good flicks since "Knocked Up," so why would he start now? Plus we could just totally see him as this guy.

Aubrey Plaza

Well, there has to be at least one girl in this, right? Aubrey Plaza has been hanging out with the boys a lot recently, so it wouldn't be a shock if she showed up in this flick.

Rob Riggle

Rob Riggle's another Ferrell and Reilly regular, so it only makes sense that he'd get in on the fun and cameo in "Fight For Your Right Revisited." He's domineering enough to fit in well with the partiers, or ironically play one of the nerds.

Zach Galifianakis

This one is more a wish than speculation, since if Zach Galifianakis were in the short he probably would have been credited. But what can I say? I have a giant comedy crush on Galifianakis and want him to star in absolutely everything.

Do you like the idea for "Fight For Your Right Revisited"? Who else do you hope cameos in it?
