The Evolution Of Daniel Radcliffe: Photos Of The ‘Harry Potter’ Star Through The Years

Daniel Radcliffe was only 10 when he found out that he got the role of Harry Potter, an experience he calls “probably the best moment of my life.”

Over the past decade, Radcliffe has continued to impress fans and critics as the title character in the highest grossing film series of all time. He has literally grown up in front of the camera, and we have been there to watch him evolve every step of the way. Never one to let himself be defined by “Harry Potter,” he’s starred in the risque play “Equus,” is currently filming the Gothic mystery “The Woman in Black” and also is preparing for his first musical on Broadway, “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying.” At age 21, Radcliffe has accomplished more (and made more money) than many actors do in their entire career, and somehow managed to stay grounded despite it.

And so we’re reaching into our bag of tricks to pull out a special treat for fans of Dan/Harry: a photo gallery chronicling his metamorphosis from budding young film star to beloved actor and promising Broadway performer. Click on the image above to see the photos.
