Hurricane Earl, Trapped Chilean Miners And The U.S. Open In Today’s Twitter-Wood

Michael Ian Black may not work for the U.S. government, but if he did, he knows what he would want to name the next hurricane that shows up, and he thinks that Hurricane Earl is far too tame of a title. Marlon Wayans had disasters on his mind, too, and sent some sleepless Twitter love out to Pakistan and the miners trapped in Chile.

In photo tweets, horror ruled today. Eli Roth shared a “Last Exorcism” party picture, and Michael McKean offered up a make-up shot that’s not for the faint of heart. Have a look down below where you’ll see which “Eclipse” actor scored a ticket to the U.S. Open, what Dane Cook thinks about “Dancing with the Stars” and how Jon Favreau spends his lunch breaks.

I’m @brianwarmoth, and this is Twitter-Wood for August 31, 2010.
