As many of you know, Jack Kerouac's classic Beat-era novel "On the Road" is being adapted into a movie starring Garrett Hedlund, Sam Riley, Kirsten Dunst and Kristen Stewart. It's a challenging story to commit to screen, but "The Motorcycle Diaries" director Walter Salles is certainly up to the task, especially with the cast he's assembled.
Stewart told us in June that part of her preparation for the starring role of Marylou involved sending her and her fellow cast members through a four week beatnik boot camp. That stage appears to be over, and production underway, thanks to this photo we've got of the "Twilight" star from the set, in full Marylou costume. It's our first look, and an unofficial one at that, so I would encourage you to hold off on making any judgments. This glimpse definitely makes me curious to see more though. The image itself is rather large; you can find it after the jump.
