With the movie out on Friday, this is prime time for Efron to figure out what he’s going to do next. He’s already got a TV appearance lined up, voicing Anakin Skywalker on the next “Robot Chicken: Star Wars” special. Now Deadline reports that there are two film roles he’s considering as well. First up is “The Lucky One,” an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel, about a soldier coming home from Iraq who sets out to find a woman in a picture he’s been carrying as his good luck charm. The other is “Die In a Gunfight,” an action flick with echoes of the “Romeo & Juliet” story written by a pair of fresh-faced newcomers. Deadline describes “The Lucky One” as Efron’s “likely” next effort. What do you make of all this? Will you be seeing “Charlie St. Cloud” this weekend?
