‘Deathly Hallows’ Trailer Declares It ‘The Motion Picture Event Of A Generation’… Do You Agree?

The latest trailer for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” debuted last night. It’s a very epic little piece of video. Even the typically tinkly “Potter” theme that plays at the end of every trailer and TV spot gets turned up to 11.

All sorts of text pops up on the screen to fill out the moments between scene changes. There’s one in particular that caught my eye, a blurb advertising the two-part release of “Deathly Hallows,” which will cap off film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s seven volume book series, as “the motion picture event of a generation.” Very bold words. I’m here to poll you readers, see what you think. Is that an accurate description for this franchise-closing two-parter? Would you argue that something else more deserves that distinction? Do all of these movies even fit for the same generation?
