We learned earlier this week that "The Last Airbender" director M. Night Shyamalan is already looking towards what's next. The notoriously secretive filmmaker, who has become known for injecting his films with head-turning twists, has reportedly been sending assistants out with the script to studio executives and then having those assistants sit and observe while the reading takes place.
This is Hollywood we're talking about though. Nothing stays secret for long. And Deadline has the scoop on the top-level plot details for what Shyamalan's cooked up. The word is that "Bradley Cooper" -- who is attached to star with Gwyneth Paltrow and Bruce Willis -- "would play a father on a desperate search for his missing child. It might stray into 'Taken' terrain, but the father taps into some supernatural powers to aid the search." Sounds good. Anything that finds comparison with "Taken" works for me. I'll even overlook "The Happening." What do you readers think?
