Blackhawks Win The Stanley Cup And Diablo Cody Shows Her Loyalty In Today’s Daily TwitPic

Big day in sports yesterday. Hockey’s Chicago Blackhawks scored an overtime goal against the Philadelphia Flyers last night to put the cap on the season with a Stanley Cup win, the team’s first since 1961. Maybe not as momentous as the New York Rangers winning the Cup in ’94 (suck it, Islander fans!), but a momentous occasion for Chicago residents and Blackhawks fans nonetheless.

Diablo Cody, the writer of “Juno” and “Jennifer’s Body,” is a native of Illinois. So as you might expect, she’s a pretty dedicated Blackhawks fan. And here she is in today’s Daily TwitPic, proudly showing off her team pride. Now if only the Cubs could pull one out too…
