"Paranormal Activity" is a low budget horror flick that was completed in 2007. Yes, I'm aware that it's now 2009 and that the movie is just hitting theaters next week, on September 25. The mind-twisting horror movie, which I hear is quite good, has traveled a bit of a bumpy road these past couple years.
You'd think that the trip would be nearly complete, what with the release being so close and all. It's just the beginning though. "Paranormal Activity" will open wider next week than your average limited release, but it's not the full-blown wide opening that fans and curious onlookers might be hoping for. Recognizing the reach of micro-blogging service Twitter, Paramount has created an account in the movie's name -- @TweetYourScream -- where fans can find screening reactions, critics' reviews, additional opening updates and more. You can also take your desire to see the movie straight to the studio, at ParanormalMovie.com. Hit the jump for the movie's official poster and for a list of theaters you can catch the feature in next week.
