Nominee Kristen Stewart 'Can Do Anything,' Declares 'Twilight' Director Catherine Hardwicke

While co-star Robert Pattinson was a relative newcomer to the Hollywood scene, Kristen Stewart was already a veteran by the time she joined the "Twilight" cast. Stewart was among the first to be added to the roster, and the potential Edward role depended on who she had the most chemistry with.

What Hardwicke saw made her find Stewart even more impressive, which is why -- according to her -- Stewart deserves the Best Female Performance statue at the MTV Movie Awards tonight at 9 p.m. ET.
