For as long as he can remember, Shia LaBeouf has not been allowed to talk about the Fallen. Tonight however, the muzzle comes off.
“I don’t know how much of this I can divulge,” the “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” star told us when we caught up with him. “I can really get into a lot of trouble if I start getting into specifics.”
Well tonight is the big night. To help us count down to Sunday’s MTV Movie Awards, the “Transformers” team has given us permission to reveal the sequel’s main villain tonight at 9:01 PST. Keep an eye on MTV.com, as Shia will be giving us a personal tour of the Transformer that everybody is dying to see.”
“Visually, fans will be pleased with it,” he promised. “I think people will be surprised; I think he’ll be a surprise to people, because that’s what our goal is. If we don’t surprise people, we’ve failed.”
When Shia returns to screens as Sam Witwicky in the June 24th film, he’ll discover that his old Decepticon adversaries aren’t the only ones seeking revenge. This time they’ve brought in reinforcements, in the form of the biggest, baddest Transformer yet.
“Listen, the movie starts off like ‘What the f–k’ is going on?’ and just doesn’t let up,” Shia said of the Fallen’s importance. “And for us to end the film? The last fight has to be monstrous. It has to be better than every other fight in the movie. And that fight involves the Fallen. So, it’s going to be outrageous. It has to be.”
Come back tonight to get your first glimpse of the Fallen in all his badass glory. That is, if we can convince Shia that Michael Bay has finally lifted the gag order.
“Really?” He grinned uneasily. “I mean, I’m nervous to divulge all this stuff, because I’ve been told to keep it real secret. I really can get in trouble for doing this.”
Weaponry? His overall look? What are you hoping to see in the Fallen tonight?
