New ‘Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince’ International Trailer Lands Online

Last month’s new “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” offered a peek at Voldemort’s dark origins and some first looks at Professor McGonagall, Narcissa Malfoy and Luna Lovegood in this summer’s sixth Potter movie. Now, there’s a newly cut international trailer making the rounds that mainly focuses on Horace Slughorn and Harry in the present.

Most of the footage can be found in the March trailer and another that was made for Japan, but with the film’s July 17 release still a few months off, little glimpses like this sequence, MTV’s behind-the-scenes “Half-Blood Prince” set visit and a few character posters will have to suffice.

Readers familiar with “Half-Blood Prince” and Slughorn’s story are going to have plenty to talk about. Those unfamiliar should still be able to get excited about the “Star Wars” scale problems Harry has lying ahead. If you thought “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” was starting to get black and bleak, you’ve obviously got a few surprises ahead before we get to the last of the films.

What do you think of the “Half-Blood Prince” trailer? Did you see anything you weren’t expecting? What do you want them to get right in this sequel? Share your reactions in the comment section below!
