Red carpets and movie premieres are places to see celebrities who have something to promote: an album, a new show, an upcoming film, a new clothing line, you name it. Although this is usually true, at the "Hannah Montana: The Movie" premiere last night in Hollywood, Taylor Swift and Demi Lovato made it clear that they were there to show their support their good friend Miley Cyrus.
How can you tell? Body language. The girls were clearly glad to see each other, as evidenced by the genuine hugs between poses for the photographers. (Check out the photos of Miley with her friends after the jump, plus more photos from the carpet in our "Hannah Montana: The Movie" premiere gallery.)
They give real I'm-so-glad-you're-here hugs, even in front of the cameras:
They admire each other's funky nail polish and rings:
And, although each girl has her own distinct sense of style, they both seemed to support Miley through fashion, adding a rock n' roll image to their usual looks.
Taylor Swift, who was as elegant as always, had a definite rocker-chic look to her dress last night. The black-studded, strapless, sweetheart neckline dress was an especially edgy choice for her. Demi Lovato also wore black, with rocker blue eye makeup and nail polish. And who could miss Miley's muted blue dress with black leather jacket and boots? Her look was perfection. These girls know exactly who they are, and their confidence shows in their wardrobe.
