'Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows: Part II' To Be Released July 2011

Daniel Radcliffe in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince'We may be three months away from the release "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," but Warner Bros. is already looking towards the future. "Exhibitor Relations" reports the second part of "Deathly Hallows" -- the final film in the franchise -- will hit theaters on July 15, 2011.

The new schedule means two "Harry Potter" films will arrive less than a year apart, with the first part of "Deathly Hallows" seeing release on November 19, 2010. The July 15 date also means our favorite wizard will find himself up against Marvel's superhero team-up "The Avengers," itself a major draw during the summer blockbuster season.

Full casting has yet to be announced for the final installment, although we know one member who won't be returning: Emma Thompson has opted out of her Professor Sybil Trelawney role in favor of a "Nanny McPhee" sequel.

Someone who is looking forward to filming "Hallows" is another Emma, Emma Watson. The actress told us last year that the relationship between her character Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley is something she's anxiously waiting to explore. "I'm looking forward to that because it felt very real when I read it," Watson told MTV News.

Warner Bros. also released dates for a full slate of films, including "Green Lantern" (December 17, 2010), "Jonah Hex" (August 6, 2010), "The Clash of the Titans" (March 26, 2010), "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan's "Inception" (July 16, 2010), "Sherlock Holmes" (December 25, 2009), and "Watchmen" director Zack Snyder's "Suckerpunch" (October 8, 2010).

Readers, are you already counting down the days until "Deathly Hallows" arrives? What do you hope they keep from the book to film?
