Get Your Webcams Ready As First ‘Twilight’ Clip Airs Live On Sunday!

Okay, I admit it: I love watching you scream. I love watching you shriek, jump up and down, and fall out of your chairs, and just like so many people all over the world, I check this site every day to see your reactions to the latest “Twilight” news. Now, in case you haven’t heard, the adventures of Edward and Bella are taking over the MTV Movie Awards this weekend, and there’s never been a better time to submit your videos!

Here’s the deal: I’ve seen the clip. Just the other day, I showed it to Stephenie Meyer herself when she stopped in the office to record her intro for Sunday. And we both agreed: It is chock freakin’ full of “OME!” moments to behold.

So here’s what we at MTV would like you to do: When you and your friends gather in front of the TV Sunday evening (7:30 p.m. Eastern Time) to watch the pre-show, put some sort of camera on yourself. It could be a webcam, the camcorder your Dad drags out to embarrass you at Christmas, whatever. Turn it on, point it at yourself, and enjoy the show.

After you’ve spent three hours jumping up and down and cursing the days between now and December 12th, check your tape. Find the footage of you watching our exclusive clip from the movie. Did you shriek? Did you drool? Did your parents come in the room to see why you were hyperventilating?

Cut your footage down to that reaction, then visit our YouRHere site and upload your video by clicking on “Create An Upload” (you’ll have to first register for a free account if you haven’t already). And remember to tag it as “Twilight,” or else we might confuse it with all those “Hottie & The Nottie” reaction clips we’ve misplaced on purpose.

We’ll be combing through the videos next week to find the crème de la crème. Who knows? Maybe you could soon find yourself on MTV, the website, or the Blog!

On Sunday night, scream it loud and scream it proud: “I’m a Twilighter, and these are my peeps!” Just don’t be droppin’ any crazy f-bombs, Andrew Dice Clay, because we can’t post any videos with naughty language in them.

We look forward to you watching our coverage Sunday night, and to watching you watching us. In the meantime, enjoy these tasty stills of this Sunday’s exclusive clip!
