Comic-Con: 'Iron Man' Footage Shown, Favreau Turns Camera On Audience

"I figure I didn't want to be the only person not to put this on YouTube, so I'm filming you guys," laughed a triumphant Jon Favreau, walking out at Comic-Con Thursday.

Not scheduled to appear, the "Iron Man" director was preceded by a video of him saying he was unable to attend, then showing "preliminary" footage that turned out to be from a cheesy old "Iron Man" cartoon.

What he did show was mind-numbingly great footage, with a humorous Downey, Iron Man flying alongside jet fighters, and a huge chunk of Stark's early escape wearing the crude "tin man" costume. Favreau entered the stage pointing his personal video camera toward the crowd, while Black Sabbath's "Iron Man" blared.
