From the opening frames of "The Simpsons Movie" you know that you are in good hands (from now on Ralph Wiggum should appear in every 20th Century Fox film) and it's no wonder, with brains like Matt Groening and James L. Brooks back at the helm of the franchise. Not that they ever went away, but these two, by all accounts, were much more involved in the new flick than in recent seasons of the show.
Our very own Kurt Loder sat down with Groening and Brooks for a fascinating edition of "Rough Cut." If you'd rather read some of the interview, just click here. Meanwhile, check out a portion of the conversation below where, among other things, Groening and Brooks debate the merits of a live action Simpsons movie.
