So, of course Rule was asked about Fif’s bankruptcy filing during a promo run for "Follow The Rules." But, it seems, Ja’s not super excited about answering these types of questions these days.
"I don’t care about that man,” Rule told HipHopDX. "Good luck to that man. I hope he finds himself in a situation where he feels more comfortable. I don’t really give a f--k. Honestly, I don’t. I can care less, yo.”
But Ja did speak on another beef. During the interview, he addressed the ghostwriting scandal that sparked Drake and Meek Mill’s feud this year.
"When you have someone writing your music and you’re an R&B singer, that’s fine because your talent is in your voice,” he explained. "Using your voice is your God given talent. As an emcee or Hip Hop artists, our pen is our talent. Being able to put those words and delivery together is the challenge. If you have ghostwriters, it doesn’t make sense. It takes away from what we do as artists."
Rule’s promoting his MTV docu-series “Follow The Rules,” a program that he and his family are "enjoying" because it’s full of "fun" and "positive energy." Guess that's way more fun than rap beef anyway.
