Love and work don't always mix, especially when you're trying to score a killer apprenticeship with one of L.A.'s finest chefs. Lorena and new-guy Harrison learned this firsthand on the latest episode of "House of Food," when the two took their flirtation up a notch...in the privacy of the kitchen pantry.
What happens in the pantry doesn't stay in the pantry, though, because word spread fast amongst the housemates, serving as fodder for Suki and Will, who instantly snubbed the newbie competitor. (Will compared Harrison to the likes of marinara sauce -- "greasy, red and full of flavor" -- while Suki refused to sample Mister Marinara's Italian meal...minus that spinach leaf she licked.) Lorena, on the other hand, embraced the New York native's charm, and after fixing his finger boo-boo with a Band-Aid, the two retreated to the kitchen for a late-night smoochfest. Cue Beyoncé: "Woke up in the kitchen saying, 'How the hell did this s**t happen?'"
Friends kiss friends...right?
Lorena told Gillian and Harrison told Jake, and then everyone told everyone. Meanwhile, during the diner challenge (post-kiss, mind you), Harrison didn't pick Lorena for his team. "It's not personal, I just had to choose the three best cooks, and you're not it," is basically what he said.
Despite Lorena's hurt feelings, the two agreed to remain friends...and refrain from further canoodling. But judging from this season's sneak peek, a love triangle brews between Lorena, Harrison and Amanda. Think Lorena and Harrison should have kept their lips to themselves?
