Danielle Fishel Lends Her Acting Talents To ‘Space Jam’ Table Read

Actors and athletes alike at the “Space Jam” table read.

What happens when a ’90s TV icon recites lines from a classic ’90s film? Two words: nostalgia overload! This past weekend, comedians Jensen Karp and Sean O’Connor of the UCB Theater’s “The Live Read” tapped former “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel for a live reading of “Space Jam,” and the result was nothing short of a slam dunk.

The actress, who is currently in the thick of shooting the “BMW” spin-off, “Girl Meets World,” was joined by fellow thespians Nick¬†Kroll, Ben Schwartz and Seth Green, as well as Los Angeles Clippers players Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, to recite the lines to the memorable flick, and everyone brought their A-game.

“Michaellll Jordannn!” Danielle reads in her best sportscaster voice in the Instavid below, introducing Griffin (as Jordan), who doesn’t miss a beat. The vibe in the room is comparable to a summer camp play rehearsal, especially in the second clip, when the entire cast of characters breaks character as R. Kelly’s “I Believe I Can Fly” plays in the background. Takes ya back, doesn’t it?
