Actors and athletes alike at the "Space Jam" table read.
What happens when a '90s TV icon recites lines from a classic '90s film? Two words: nostalgia overload! This past weekend, comedians Jensen Karp and Sean O'Connor of the UCB Theater's "The Live Read" tapped former "Boy Meets World" star Danielle Fishel for a live reading of "Space Jam," and the result was nothing short of a slam dunk.
The actress, who is currently in the thick of shooting the "BMW" spin-off, "Girl Meets World," was joined by fellow thespians Nick Kroll, Ben Schwartz and Seth Green, as well as Los Angeles Clippers players Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, to recite the lines to the memorable flick, and everyone brought their A-game.
"Michaellll Jordannn!" Danielle reads in her best sportscaster voice in the Instavid below, introducing Griffin (as Jordan), who doesn't miss a beat. The vibe in the room is comparable to a summer camp play rehearsal, especially in the second clip, when the entire cast of characters breaks character as R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" plays in the background. Takes ya back, doesn't it?
