'Ain't That America' Host Lil Duval Celebrates National Open An Umbrella Indoors Day [Video]

From opening presents to pigging out, the holiday season is our favorite time of year, but just because we’re well into the new year, that doesn’t mean the fun has to be over! We did some digging and discovered that the good ol’ U-S-of-A has at least 365 different holidays on record — yep, one a day, folks — and throughout Season 2 of “Ain’t That America,” host Lil Duval will be celebrating some of the wackiest of ‘em right here. Consider it a gift that keeps on giving!

Black cats, broken mirrors and the number 13 are all considered bad luck in America, but fear is not the answer. At least for today. March 13 marks National Open An Umbrella Indoors Day, a special time out of the year designed to give a big F-U to one of these silly superstitions. And while it may be sunny skies in our neck of the woods right now, Lil Duval is throwing caution to the wind and taking part in the rebellion.

"I ain't going to have no bad luck," D says in the video below as he confidently opens his umbrella. However, within seconds, the "ATA" host has a slight change of heart when he hears a sharp, screeching sound coming from out of nowhere. "What the hell was that?" he asks. Don't worry, D. As FDR once said, "The only thing we have to fear is fear itself." (He forgot snakes, though. Snakes are evil.)

Check out the clip, and watch more of Lil Duval on "Ain't That America" Wednesdays at 11/10c on MTV2.
