It was smooth sailing for Jamie and Thomas toward the beginning of the atypical couple's relationship, but when Thomas' ex-girlfriend, Hailey, moved in to the "Real World: Ex-Plosion" house, he began to doubt his new love. On last night's episode, Thomas broke things off with Jamie completely, saying his hatred of relationship labels ultimately compelled him to back away, and in this week's "Real World S#!t Show," he defends his allergy to being called someone's "boyfriend."
"When you put a title on a relationship...you have to start worrying, you can't go and cheat -- you can't be single," Thomas says to co-hosts Chet Cannon of "Real World: Brooklyn" and "RuPaul’s Drag Race" alum Willam Belli in the clip below. (Well, when you put it like that...)
Eventually, Thomas came around and patched things up with Jamie, and he explains that their relationship roller-coaster has taught him a bit about compromise. "I liked [Jamie] enough, and I felt a connection enough to be like, 'You know what? If that's what makes her happy, that's what makes her happy.'"
