Nick Cannon Opens Up About His Brave Battle With Lupus

Nick Cannon: comedian turned supermodel!

Although Nick Cannon is happily married to pop-music superstar Mariah Carey, the father of two still exudes the sex appeal of a young single man (please don't hurt us for saying so, Mimi!). In the current issue of Bleu Magazine, the 33-year-old comedian and entrepreneur poses for some very sultry shots, but in an accompanying interview with the men's lifestyle book, Nick reminds us why he's so much more than a pretty face.

In January of 2012, the "Wild 'N Out" mastermind was diagnosed with Lupus, a disease that affects the body's immune system, and two years later, Nick is opening up about his battle. "The condition has made me better," he tells Bleu. "I have doctors’ orders to get a certain amount of sleep." With so many projects on the horizon, it's hard to believe that the hardest working man in showbiz has any time to rest, but Nick insists that with a new mindset, as well as a strict workout regimen, he's able to maintain a healthy lifestyle. "It is a lot of stretching and meditating," he says. "Before I would lift weights -- now it is a total body workout." Well, keep doin' what you're doin', Nick -- the world continues to be yours for the taking!
