'Ain't That America' Host Lil Duval Celebrates Singles Awareness Day [Video]

From opening presents to pigging out, the holiday season is our favorite time of year, but just because we’re well into the new year, that doesn’t mean the fun has to be over! We did some digging and discovered that the good ol’ U-S-of-A has at least 365 different holidays on record — yep, one a day, folks — and throughout Season 2 of “Ain’t That America,” host Lil Duval will be celebrating some of the wackiest of ‘em right here. Consider it a gift that keeps on giving!

364 days out of the year, confident single women strut their stuff to Queen Bey's girl power anthems, but that happy tune can often change come Valentine's Day. February 14th can be a harsh reminder to these ladies that they are NOT in a loving, romantic relationship; however, at least February 15th -- Singles Awareness Day -- kinda makes up for it.

Despite its S.A.D. acronym, the celebration is meant to offer a humorous spin on yesterday's Hallmark holiday so that single women can dust off their shoulders, bounce right back on their feet and start anew. But keeping a positive outlook isn't always easy, especially with jokers like Lil Duval around. In the video below, the comedian renames the holiday "Lonely B**ches Day," and suggests that ladies participate by staying home and surfing social media. Or...they could just throw darts at a picture of Lil D's face? #kiddingnotkidding

Check out Duval's take on S.A.D., and tune in to "Ain't That America" Wednesdays at 11/10c on MTV2!
