You can cook a bowl of rice in 60 seconds, but is it enough time to prove you’re worthy of true love? Premiering Tuesday, January 21, “Are You The One?” will challenge single men and women to find their perfect matches, but before the game gets underway, you can learn all about the cast members’ relationship potential through the people who know them best: themselves! We tasked the entire group with selling their most attractive features in under one minute, and we’ll be rolling out their video dating resumes in pairs each day up until the premiere. Check out today’s testimonials below.
Some men -- like Chris S. -- want a girl that enjoys being taken care of, but if you ask Ashleigh, a relationship is the sum of two equal parts, and there's no need for a female to rely solely on her significant other. The stunning "Are You The One?" contestant says she's looking for something "interdependent," so will Chris, who wants his woman to feel like a princess, be thrown off by her balanced mantra?
Ashleigh, who calls herself both sexual and nerdy, is ready to split her next partnership fifty-fifty. "I don't always feel like I need to have someone providing for me," she says in her dating resume. "We can both work together toward the same goal to get somewhere." Chris, on the other hand, is ready to be the rock. "I'm a black belt in karate; I could protect you," he claims. "I can play the piano, I can play the guitar, I can cook for my woman...everything on paper sounds like I'm the one." Just maybe not for Ashleigh.
Check out the vids, and see if these two can manage to find true love when "Are You The One?" premieres January 21 at 11/10c!
