Deena Cortese Sings 'Rudolph' On Radio Show, Says First Single Is Just Around The Corner

You thought "Beyonce" brought the music world to its knees? Wait until 2014's rightful superstar, Deena Nicole Cortese, takes her place in the spotlight. Ever since "Jersey Shore" wrapped, Deena's talked about carving out a music career for herself, and the aspiring singer has just announced that she's nearly ready to share her first tune with the world. Madison Square Garden had better start clearing its schedule -- this girl is gonna draw some CROWDS.

In the "Rashaud's Rundown" radio interview below, D says her inaugural single will drop just after the holidays, and that she's already begun to work on a follow-up, too. "I love singing," she explains before show host Rashaud challenges her to perform an a cappella rendition of "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer." The meatball's lovely tone has certainly gotten us into the spirit, but you can listen for yourself at the 6:00 mark to see how you think she holds up!

Music aside, could the new year mean wedding bells for Deena and longtime boyfriend Chris Buckner, as well? "[Chris and I] talk about it," she says. "But, we wanna, like, move in first and take it step by step." Sounds like Snooki and JWOWW may soon have another friend to rope into dress shopping!

Check out more from Deena, including who she still keeps in touch with from the "Jersey Shore" cast.
