Five Wedding Dress Shopping Tips We Learned From 'Snooki & JWOWW'

As we saw on last week's episode of "Snooki & JWOWW," it takes three gay men, your BFF for life and some extremely patient salespeople to make the dream wedding dress a reality. But if a self-proclaimed bridal virgin like Snooki can land the perfect gown without having a total meltdown, you can, too! Heed these tips we culled straight from the guidette's first (and last, until Jenni's ready for her turn) trip to the bridal shop, and your own search will no doubt be a cinch:

Nothing's more important than the dress. The bridal boutique should be your very first item on the wedding to-do list. Annoying decisions like the venue, guest list, flowers...hell, even deciding on the actual day/month/year of the event can come later. Play Pretty Pretty Princess with your bestie to start, and the rest will follow.

Go easy on the bronzer. And spray tan. And don't go when Aunt Flo is in town. Why? Because, as the ever-observant Snooki exclaimed, "EVERYTHING IS SO WHITE!" You can't properly enjoy yourself if you're fretting over every little orange streak you leave behind.

Bring a Xanax...or a flask. Just in case. 'Cause if you're anything like non-committal bride Jenni, you're gonna want a lil' somethin' somethin' to take the edge off when you're standing in a giant white dress and you suddenly start to hyperventilate.

Invite your most honest, fashion-conscious friends. Bonus points if they're gay men who'll try on dresses with you, regardless of the amount of ball sweat dripping from their loins.

Don't buy it unless you feel beautiful. It's basically a no-brainer, according to Nicole. "Once you feel really, really pretty in a dress, that's your dress!" she said. We're still holding out hope for that "Snook Yes to the Dress" spin-off...

+ Tune in tonight at 10/9c for even more wedding planning shenanigans, "Snooki & JWOWW"-style!
