Sabrina from"Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch."
"Sabrina, the Teenage Witch" was a smash hit from '96-'03, and 10 years after its season finale, the show still has a home on MTV2. In this clip from our recent interview with Melissa Joan Hart, the actress talks about the staying power of the iconic series, and whether she felt slighted by her lack of involvement in The Hub's new animated version, "Sabrina: Secrets of a Teenage Witch."
"Sabrina" has taken on a few iterations since its days as an Archie Comic, including a 1999 ABC cartoon in which MJH voiced aunts Hilda and Zelda, but the latest exploration of the teen witch doesn't include the original TV series' star. "I'm not involved...not even as a producer, so it's sort of a strange thing that it's coming back," she admits. Ashley Tisdale was chosen to voice the famous character this time around, which Melissa says threw her Twitter fans into a tizzy. However, she insists she's happy to see that "Sabrina" still has legs. "If someone else can find another interesting, new way to do it, why not?" she says. And that's called taking the high road, folks.
