Dylan O'Brien and Tyler Hoechlin at a Dodgers game last year, before Tyler threw out the first pitch.
Tyler Hoechlin is using his "Teen Wolf" hibernation period to the fullest. Our favorite brooding lycanthrope will be hanging up his fur coat and fangs for the next four weeks in favor of something a little bit closer to home (plate). According to On Location Vacations, the actor just began filming a new independent project, "Undrafted."
The film, written, directed by and starring Joseph Mazzello (a.k.a. the kid who got blasted off the electric fence in "Jurassic Park") is about a star college baseball player who's forced to reevaluate his life when he doesn't get drafted to the big leagues. As a "baseball player at heart," according to his Twitter bio, it sounds like this flick is right up TyHo's alley. While there are no details about his character yet, the revealing set pic from a fan below features him in uniform, which means we'll most likely get to see his baseball skills in action! We haven't gotten a glimpse of Hoechlin's slugger talents since last year, when he threw the ceremonial first pitch at an LA Dodgers game (and his co-star, Dylan O'Brien, caught it) so we're long overdue for another showing! Tyler Hoechlin IN BASEBALL PANTS = true bliss.
