'Girl Code' Comedienne Shalyah Evans Recreates Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' Music Video...In The Bathroom

You know what they say: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, especially if it involves the licking of a generic air pump and humping an exercise ball! After 2013's most attention-snatching pop star, Miley Cyrus, released a particularly racy video for her latest single, "Wrecking Ball," earlier this week, Shalyah Evans of "Girl Code" took it upon herself to do what any great artist would do: re-interpret the short film in her bathroom through forced tears and off-tempo lip-synching. VMA 2014 contender...?

In Shalyah's reboot, the comedienne pleads to her scorned ex-lover that she was only trying to get him to open up emotionally in between takes that find her unsuccessfully balancing on a semi-deflated yoga ball and testing the elasticity of her underwear. "I never meant to start a war." *tumbles into small shelving unit* "I just wanted you to let me in." *pantomimes smoking air pump as if it's an imported Cuban*

This is artistic revolution. We sure hope "Saturday Night Live"'s resident Miley impersonator, Vanessa Bayer, is taking notes!

Check out Shalyah's take on "Wrecking Ball," and tell us how you think it stacks up to Miley's.
