Daily Meditations With CT: August 30, 2013

Chris Tamburello (aka “CT”) is one of the most controversial stars of MTV’s “Rivals II,” a high-stakes, cutthroat competition that pairs up enemies as teammates. Any fan of the show knows that manipulation and backstabbing are staples of the game — cash prizes have a way of bringing the worst out of people — but the Challengers aren’t jerks in their everyday lives! In fact, some of them, like CT, are pretty Zen.

Each morning throughout the month of August, the Bostonian with the bad-boy rep is proving the depths of his spirituality by sharing inspirational passages from the book “A Time for Joy,” by Ruth Fishel. The affirmations serve as daily reminders to act with kindness and compassion in all that we do, and to not sweat the small stuff. Unless you find yourself vying for $350,000 in a Thailand jungle.
