His baby face and effortless charm might be what has all the tweens screaming, but it's Austin Mahone's incredible voice that earned him a 2013 VMA nomination in the "Artist To Watch" category. And while there's no guarantee the rising star will walk away with a KAWS Moonman, we're willing to bet mucho dinero that Mahomies will break down the barricades at the Barclays Center, regardless, to cheer on their favorite crooner with the help of many a glitter-paint sign.
In the clip below from last night's "Charlamagne And Friends," Austin shares how one fan-girl got so cray, she chucked a celly at him. "I actually had a girl throw her phone onstage at me while I was performing," he says. In some circles that might be considered assault, but the sweet singer says he took it in stride and returned the phone with a personal video message. No wonder all the girls are in lurrrve! Let's just hope nobody tries to pull such a thing while he and Ariana Grande are rockin' the pre-show!
