It's been far from the perfect relationship, but high school sweethearts Mackenzie Douthit and Josh McKee finally got their dream wedding this past Saturday in Pittsburg, Kansas. With 200 guests in attendance, the "Teen Mom 3" couple, who are parents to 2-year-old Gannon, looked positively elated as they exchanged vows, fed each other slices of camo-and-lace cake and put their cowboy boots to good use on the dance floor.
The bride and groom, who recently learned they are expecting a second child, almost ended their relationship during "16 and Pregnant," when Josh refused to give up the dangerous sport of bull-riding, and, as you'll see throughout the upcoming season of "Teen Mom 3" (premieres Monday, August 26, at 10/9c), they continued to struggle with communication issues during their engagement. But time and personal growth has brought them to a calmer, healthier place, and the smiles they wore after saying "I do" perfectly capture the start of this new chapter for their family.
In the new issue of Us Weekly, Mackenzie reflects on the emotional wedding ceremony, in which her sister sang Etta James' "At Last." "Josh was whispering in my ear how much he loved me," she tells the mag. "It was the best moment. It was like, 'We're here, we did it.'"
Lucky for us, a professional photographer was on hand to capture every moment of the beautiful couple's nuptials, and we've put together a digital wedding album sure to make you oooh and aww (look out for an adorable pic of little Gannon!).
